A golden weekend at the @athleticsont U14, U16 & U18 Provincial Championships! πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡ On Friday, I competed in the U16 2000m and brought home the πŸ₯‡ in a tightly contested race, crossing the line in 6:18.40. I was really happy with how I executed my race plan and closed it out over the final 300m. Saturday started with the U16 1200m, where I won another πŸ₯‡ in 3:34.42. I was really pleased with how I raced and finished the final stretch. Saturday evening, I joined my Etobicoke teammates in the U18 4Γ—800m relay. We won πŸ₯‡ in 9:02.26, breaking the Canadian πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ U18 and U20 National Records, along with the Ontario U18, U20, U24 and Open Provincial Records. It was an incredible experience to be part of such a special race. 🫢🏼 I wrapped up the weekend on Sunday morning by winning the U16 1500m Steeplechase in 4:57.38 to earn my fourth and final πŸ₯‡ of the championships. A huge thank you to my coaches Peter, Trevor and Julius for believing in me and helping me improve every day. I’m also incredibly grateful for my @etobicoketrack teammates. Everyone crushed it this weekend, and I couldn’t be prouder to be part of such an amazing group of athletes. πŸ’š πŸ“Έ @action.click.photography . . . . #trackandfield #running #nationalrecord #gold #athletics
