Chris, aka CPTN, is a Jamaican Bengali creative born and raised in Wolverhampton.

His great-grandmother was part of the Windrush generation, coming to the UK from Hanover, Jamaica, before bringing his mum over.

With 13 years in modelling, Chris began his journey in Wolverhampton, modelling for friends’ brands such as @mrwhitelabel . After earning a degree in sports coaching, he moved to London to pursue fashion, signing with Nevs Models in 2016 and launching his career as a professional model, now signed to IMM.

Music has always been another constant. Growing up in a Jamaican household, he was immersed in sound system culture from an early age. He began DJing at 16/17 before taking his sound into clubs and organising his own events while studying at university in Manchester

Proud of his roots and culture, Chris continues to explore ways of expressing his identity through his art, bringing together his influences across fashion and music.

Another day pretending we know exactly what we’re doing - (thankfully @alexjohnsonstudio knows)

Ecomm shoot for @walter_denim today and honestly, it’s pretty bloody exciting watching this thing grow.

More denim, more ideas, more questionable decisions involving flowers, shoes and grown men crawling around on studio floors.

Slowly but surely, Walter is building. And it’s very fun being part of it. 👖

Ok bits from the London Special screening of Sharon Horgan’s Youth. Youth is one of those scripts where, the moment you read it, the character just jumps off the page at you.

I knew Sam Laville. I understood her point of view, and I knew instinctively what truly motivates her. She’s a version of me, self-actualised. She has the sexy husband, played by the brilliant @robbiegee1970 , she has kids and a stepson, and she has raging hormones!

She also has her own trials and tribulations around growing older, although saying that Sam, like me, is very sure she’ll still be sexy at 60! 😉
