I love reading near a body of water, kayaking in both lakes and the ocean, and snorkeling in tropical areas. And blue is my fav color so this was a fun stack to make! The wooden fish is one of several decorating my boys’ sea-themed bathroom. 🐠

Spring is in the air and I’m loving it! Even though it’s not my top favorite season (Autumn is), I absolutely love it— it’s full of birthdays (including my own), we spend more time outside, flowers are blooming, animals are everywhere, and it’s the final push for the end of the school year. 🙌🏼

📚Real Life Challenge🧸
Swipe 👉🏼 for my son’s epic book stack and a look at our playroom

❓QOTD: What are you looking forward to this weekend?

In honor of my little one’s birthday today 🎉 I thought I’d finally do this “real life” challenge that @boetbooks tagged me in a while back.

My bookshelves are in our “playroom”. Sometimes I find toys on the shelves, books moved around (I keep my favorite books on higher shelves 😅)… my daughter likes to decorate the shelves with signs and my son likes to look at covers and stack them up.

Last month, I was putting laundry away when my son excitedly said I needed to come see something he put together… it was this epic book stack all with a rose on top 😆🤩. (I keep my old childhood/teenage favorites on a lower shelf).

He was so proud of his stack 🥰.

** I want to note that I took the picture of the playroom right after cleaning it 😆 we could barely walk through there the other day— it was chaos. So no, it doesn’t always look that tidy! We moved to this house last summer and I’m still trying to figure out how to organize everything. It’s a work in progress 🫶🏼.
