THE SOUND OF LEAVES

Some BTS from a short I was part of last month! It was a joy working in a wide variety of locations (and temperatures) over the course of a few days!

This film was a great experience all around. I’m thankful for the opportunity to work with new people and see some of Autumn’s beautiful sights!

Thank you!

Virtual Exhibition “Forces of Nature”
Presenting the work:

1. Electric Pulse
Digital Photography
Montana McCullough
Electric Pulse, captures the raw spirit of performance. Shot in dramatic stage lighting, the musician’s expression and physical engagement with the instrument reflect the connection between movement and sound. The high-contrast black-and-white treatment amplifies the feeling of rhythm, personality, and experience preserved in a single frame.

2. CSU Ram, 2025
Digital Photography
Cody Mathias Rudisill
The second is a football player at Colorado State, QB Tahj Bullock. I captured this photo of him going from the practice facility to the stadium.

3. Piece of Sky, 2025
Digital Photography
Kyulim Lee
This photo captures a slice of nature in a way we don’t usually pay attention to.

4. Gaze for life, 2025
Digital Photography
Xiangyi Zhao
This photograph is part of my record of scenes I can touch in my everyday life. They are all a gaze of everything around me.

5. Part of the series “Walking Through Fall”, 2025
Digital Photography
Seoeun Lee
For this series, I chose photographs that capture the quiet, transitional feeling of fall. I wanted each image to reflect the warm tones and gentle atmosphere that come with the season, so I focused on emphasizing orange and yellow hues during the editing process.

6. Seagull, 2025
Digital Photography
Hailey Gundy
There is something almost meditative about the way the bird holds its space, unhurried and completely at ease, as the tide recedes around it. The shallow water on the beach creates a natural mirror, pulling the colors of the sky downward until it becomes difficult to tell where the horizon truly begins.

7. Deserted, 2025
Digital Photography
Alex Mandelker
I captured my friend who was walking through the dried up beds of the great salt lake, looking around. I feel like this image captures just how dried up the lake has become, to the point where you can’t see any water anywhere in the picture, just a dried up bed.
