Turns out getting engaged is even more fun when your friends decide it deserves a party. ❤️

Yesterday we got to celebrate at Lucky Duck surrounded by some of our favorite people. There were drinks, a lot of laughs, some questionable photos, and so much love.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about chosen family and how lucky we are to have people who show up for us, love us, and are genuinely excited to celebrate this next chapter with us. Yesterday was a pretty great reminder of just how good our people are.

Thank you to everyone who put this together and came out to celebrate us. We love you guys.

And I still can’t believe I get to marry this guy. ❤️🥂

Birthday celebrations done right: Project Hail Mary, dinner at Odd Duck, lots of laughs, and quality time with some of my favorite people. Feeling very lucky, very loved, and very grateful heading into another year around the sun. Also, shoutout to the rearview mirror photo for perfectly capturing the chaos level of this group.

If your weekend didn’t include live music, sunshine, and dancing with friends…. Did it even happen? @sipssoundsfest was a good one! @calvinharris understood the assignment!

“What’s this? What’s this?! 🎶 Just a few of us wandering through Halloween Town at the Wildflower Center. Great company, cool lights, and all the spooky feels. @pelmendorf @alexmize @lex_esq

ACL weekend never misses! @sabrinacarpenter surprised us with @shaniatwain and this ‘90s Texas kid’s heart nearly burst. Feeling so grateful to share my favorite weekend of the year with @lex_esq , @alexmize , and my favorite guy @pelmendorf ❤️🎶

A road-trip, treehouse, pup-lovin’ kind of engagement session just days after the proposal. Sigh, so lovely.
Alex and Lex, you two are ones of a kind 🥂

from the time @alexmize and i started dating last year, we regularly find ourselves pausing and saying to each other, “i love our life”.

whether it be after a day spent drinking and lounging by the pool, shopping and live music on south congress, an amazing (road)trip, a fun concert, or just an evening at home on the couch with the pups… no matter what we’re doing, i love doing life with you.

i can’t wait to do it forever 💛
