Yes, yes we did in fact do that entire thing for nothing and then just choose the book we wanted 💀

Side note: that adorably spicy book lovers hat (iykyk) is from @custombybluebird and you can use code maggie20 to design your own!

Over 200 #dermatologists from all over the country converged on Capitol Hill today to lobby for Medicare reform- requesting that #Congress keep #Medicare access available by keeping up with inflationary changes. Many thanks to Senators @sentimkaine and @senatorwarner for taking the time to hear our voices regarding this crucial issue. Many thanks to the staff of @repgerryconnolly for taking our meeting. Over the past 20 years physician offices have seen Medicare reimbursement decline nearly 30% while the cost to run a practice has increased by 47% and inflation and cost of living is at an all time high. Private practices like ours will only be able to continue to serve Medicare patients if this is rectified. Have you noticed your favorite PCPs or Internists have gone concierge? Have you had a hard time seeing a dermatologist that accepts your insurance? If you accept Medicare or are or soon will be Medicare aged- this issue affects you! Practices are going concierge out of a necessity to continue to pay our employees. We will continue to fight for inflationary adjustments to Medicare reimbursements so we can continually and faithfully serve our Medicare patients. Thank you to the AADA for organizing this impactful event #AADAonthehill @aadmember and to my fellow dermatologists who took time away from their patients and practices to communicate our struggle. @blakerz5 @cleardermva @dr.ronkainen @alexpants48 @pariser_derm

Amazing day on Capitol Hill advocating for our specialty. Grateful to our AMAZING Virginia senators who stopped to chat with us and their engaging legislative aides and fellows who made the time to hear about what we do and how we help our patients every day. Thank you AAD for organizing such an important event! #aadlegislativeconference @aadmember
