Senior year ❤️🐾

So lucky to have met these girls at SIU. I’ve made my absolute best friendships here and I seriously couldn’t have made it through these last four years without them. I was so nervous about making friends and fitting in at college, but I ended up finding the best people I could’ve ever asked for. From my roommates to the girls I met in class, through clubs, random nights out, group projects—you name it. Every single one of them made my time here so special.

My friends became my people. The ones who hyped me up, sat with me through the hard stuff, made me laugh when I needed it most, and just showed up in every way. I love them so much and I’m going to miss them every single day, especially my roommates. I’m thankful for the friends I made in every year of school—freshman through senior year—each of them shaped my college experience in a different way and gave me memories I’ll never forget.

I’m also really thankful for my entire family, especially my parents who are always there for me no matter what. They have been beyond supportive and always asked, “What do you need from us? How can we help?” And also to my supportive boyfriend who never hesitated to grab dinner or try to cheer me up after a long week.

I honestly just feel so lucky and thankful. Thank you to everyone who’s been apart of this journey. I’m officially a college graduate!! 🖤🎓
