Behind Closed Doors is officially out now.

Filmed back in 2024, over two years ago, and yet it still feels like one of my most personal, unfiltered, and challenging pieces since. I am so thankful for every person that was willing to come aboard on a story as different as this. Alex, Sean, Justin, Lina, Tweed, Katie, Brooks, Ian, Michael, Marcus, Marcel, Daniel, Cody, John, Josh, Logan, Kayleigh, Ava, Caleb: No matter how big or small of a role you felt you played, it made all the difference.

Sharing and discussing this film with people has been a highlight of my career and it's an honor to keep sharing it with people. This was a story I made to project an anxiety and isolation I realized went beyond the personal. The more I see my generation and the generations after us, the more I see Eddie everywhere. Eddie to me isn't just a character. He's is in the most seemingly secure men you know just as he is the most timid. He's in middle school and high school right now. The inability to cope with loneliness is strangely not a lonely experience, and being able to capture that sentiment in a film like this is still one of my proudest statements. And now it's yours.

Behind Closed Doors, available for viewing on YouTube.

1 of the more intense scenes from the movie @behindcloseddoors_film which is due to be released soon @erutleyofficial @justinknipper1 @alexpoteatactor @alexpoteat #actor #newrelease #filmmaking

A very real and relatable story for most, showing how difficult it can be growing up in the world today. You never know exactly what is happening “behind closed doors”
