Live broadcast at a dance show — why we do it and how it works.
At a recent dance show production, we didn’t just film — we broadcast live camera feeds to large screens inside the venue.
Why? Because at dance events, the audience sits around the stage. Not everyone has a clear view of every moment. Live screens solve that — every guest sees close-ups, key moments and stage details in real time.
How we set it up:
One dedicated crew member runs the broadcast — switching between camera feeds live, choosing the best angle for each moment and sending it to the monitors. The rest of the team focuses on filming for the final edit.
It’s two productions running at once: one for the audience in the room, one for the final video. Both need to be flawless.
This is the kind of added value that turns a good event into a memorable experience for guests — and it’s something most production teams don’t offer.
If you’re organizing a live show or performance and want your audience to see every detail — reach out. Producer/broadcast @yauheni_p_ DOP @alexredit Videographer @jekartas @pan.pan.pilot Gaffer @_maestre_vlad_

We’re grateful to have been part of filming TEDx and to help capture such a meaningful event.
A lot of work went into this project, and I’m proud of how our team handled it from start to finish.

6 people were involved in production, covering cameras, light, and sound to make sure every part of the event was captured with care and quality.

Big thank you to @msdavidova Marina Davidova and her team for the trust, the organization, and the chance to be part of this project.
