Week 8 on the Dakotas Tour🤘🏼Played a great practice round, and if I shot that score the next three days I would have won the entire tournament. But then I played a not so great tournament and missed the cut by 14. Whoops lol.

The @ccsiouxfalls hosted two great parties for us with private concerts from @lancomusic @brothersosborne @xambassadors @andygrammer which were so epic! It was a blast to have all of the players and families and girlfriends together for one of the last events of the summer. It’s mind blowing how many close friends I have out here and how many new relationships I’ve built in such a short time this summer. I tried to take a “close friends only” pic at the concert and realized it was like 30 people haha. I feel like I’ve finally found my tribe and I love the life I’m creating for myself right now. I really feel at home with the pro golf life style and supported in so many ways.

I definitely hope to advance with my career beyond the Dakotas Tour eventually, but it will also be bittersweet whenever that does happen because the people involved with this tour are pretty special. I really love it out here and have always felt welcomed and loved by the communities we spend time in. Midwest just does it different man.

Anyways no more time for sappiness I’ve got a tournament to win this week in Minot, North Dakota @vardongolfclub LFG baby

Day 15 (6/27/21). Sometimes your boy wins a huge tourney by 1 and you just gotta help him celey with the crew! Congrats to my brother @bradycalkinsgolf on the victory today and on becoming the new mayor of Yankton after winning here like 4 straight years or something ignorant hahah you the man! I’m dropping a podcast with Brady tonight on YouTube so go subscribe to Alex Romo Golf and turn post notifications on! You don’t wanna miss this one, Brady is one of the best personalities you’ll ever find out here and possibly the most prolific mini tour player of all time after winning the entire Dakotas Tour order of merit the last 3 straight years. As solid of a guy as they come.

3️⃣0️⃣ yEArS Old❗️Officially been alive and thriving for 10,950 days now. Wow. What a blessing. Yesterday I had a few close friends and family surprise me in Ojai with an awesome round of golf and dinner. I’ve been so isolated and unplugged for a few months, rebuilding myself from scratch and preparing to write my next chapter in life, that it almost brought me to tears see how unconditionally loved and supported I am by my inner circle. I needed that reminder right now. The path of growth and change can feel lonely and impossible at times, but I know I am not alone. To all the key players from my first 29 years: I love you guys from the bottom of my heart. You are why I am still here. If there’s one thing I’ve learned so far, it’s to ENJOY THE JOURNEY. Most of us are too hung up on the past and worried about the future that we never even realize how much we have in the present. When I say most of us I mean me. Slow down every now and then so you don’t miss the good ‘ole days while you’re too busy planning them. Also smile more and be kind to your fellow humans. It’s easy and free and goes a lot farther than you realize. Here’s to life!

Hey guys! I’m going to be doing an Instagram live Q&A with one of my best friends and Doctor of Physical Therapy Scott McAfee today at 6:30pm PST. He is a physical therapist and board-certified orthopedic specialist who believes in a world where anyone–regardless of age–can move healthy and live an active life. ⁣⁣

Scott received his bachelor's degree in physiological science from UCLA and doctorate of physical therapy degree from USC. In 2016, Scott was named one of Clinicient's Top 100 Physical Therapists and went on to complete his orthopedic residency training at Adventist Health hospital in Los Angeles. Scott has held various board, committee, and delegate positions within the American Physical Therapy Association, and has also served as clinical faculty for several schools in Southern California.⁣⁣

After moving to Washington, DC in 2018, he now splits his time between serving as CMO for MovementX and continuing to treat patients in their homes, gyms, or offices to help them decrease pain, prevent injury, and live a better life. ⁣⁣
