Lumière Lodge welcomes guests to the dinner table with welcoming scenes, seasonal provisions and a kitchen equipped for enthusiastic cooks ✨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Antique oil paintings, twinkly chandeliers and quirky objects are a gorgeous backdrop to a memorable evening with travelling friends. Lumière’s custom made dining table (made by Jiles of @baxter.and.green) is perfect for jolly conversations and a deliciously prepared spread (concocted in the open plan kitchen).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This looks absolutely delicious @dexterkim_ and friends! We’re so curious to know the recipe 🍴 x x

Wild westerly winds, the breath of springs being, at winters end whose unseen presence the leaves dead are driven, like ghosts from an enchanter fleeing ~ Ode to the West Wind by Percy Shelley (1820) ✨

Beautiful words to ponder over this evening especially as we experience the full force of the Roaring Forties. Continuous strong fronts lash little Hobart Town / nipaluna from the rugged West bringing with it gale force winds, bouts of rain, snow in the alpine areas and a continuous show of rainbows after storms pass.
Winter is gorgeous to observe when you’re tucked away in our little cottage.

Such beautiful and dramatic captures @dexterkim_ (and friends). It is a pleasure to have you. Stunning! x x

6PM: Kennelly-Heaviside Layer w Alex Sayer

This show is an ode to walking empty city streets in the grey afternoon and to riding a bike with no hands through an undercover car park. And to getting by.

ID: Two inverted-images in barbed wire frames against a parchment-textured grey background. The image in the top left corner shoes a rabbit running down a road next to parked cars as a man looks on from behind. In the bottom right, there is an image of the same rabbit exiting the road onto the footpath. Above this image reads the text: Pretend Radio- 29.08.21. In the bottom left-hand corner is the program running order (as listed in the caption of this post).
