for the one-week anniversary, let me show you some glimpses of the production process:

I mainly produced the album over the last one and a half years in my studio in Berlin.
it was a process of curating & sampling myself a lot.

coming from a classical percussion background, I love to approach my songs in a very rhythmic, groovy way first, before moving on to harmonies. (lyrics are mostly the last thing I add to my productions) x

one of the key people in the process was @alextheflipper my friend & mentor.
when we get together, we decode our inner children together. THANK YOU🫂 (also, you are the maaster of drums sound & textures, what a blessing to learn from you)

@taliable & @sheivasonfire were my first ever feature guests. it was also the first time more than one person was sitting on my tiny studio couch hihi. what an honor & a dream (I’m such a fangirl of both of u!!)

thank you so much @milenaknop_ for being my first real-life cellist & playing my string arrangements.
IT WAS SO COOL & you picked everything up so quickly, wow🥹

@kk0ki helped me with some of the lyrics on ‚ring ring‘. the workflow is always such a lovely ping pong with you xx

@claraphends the mix:master engineer, played such a big inspirational role in all of this. you truly are the master of vocal design, and on top of that, so patient with me! you managed to amplify the essence of what I was trying to get across with this piece. thanks for listening so carefully x

so much love to everyone who was part of this process!!

What a great ride it’s been making this. Experimenting with tones, sounds and structures that brought us back to our childhoods. @alessiadegasperis delivering beautiful songwriting paired with one of my favorite voices in music. Honored to have produced this with her😌
