Fair to say that working on HOMELAND defined my decade personally and professionally. Some other cool stuff happened while we made 96 episodes but it's hard not to feel like it wasn't a catalyst for each of these. **Which is to say: Sometimes it feels like you are standing still but you probably are not**
2010: I fell in love with being on set.
2011: I fell in love with @chrisriddle56 on set.
2013: I moved to LA and fell in love with storytelling.
2014: I made @swipedshortfilm.
2015: I married Chris.
2016: We went to the Emmys.
2017: I made @anactofterror and was a @half.initiative fellow.
2018: Fox Directors Lab fellow.
2019: Wrote @thegoldfishfilm which won @neworleansfilmfestival Script Competition and took me to @austinfilmfest. Made a co-producer on the final season of @sho_homeland. Signed with @goodfearcontent.

November 2010 - NYE 2019.
Thank you @eorrforever for kicking it off. Thank you everyone else for being the best community of friends, teachers, and allies ever.

Day 5/10 Performer/Artist Challenge. Every day, select an image from a day in the life of a Performer/Artist – a photo from a day you felt fierce or a memorable moment you’ve had during a performance/show, and post it without a single explanation, then nominate somebody to take the challenge. That’s 10 days, 10 Performance photos, 10 nominations and 0 explanations. Be active, be positive, be passionate… Raise Awareness of the Arts! I was nominated by @imatthewhancock. Today I nominate @alexwhittington! #greatbossman #nobull #funnyman

There are some people who have such a brilliant and unique voice that their art is just elevated simply by the nature of who they are. Dickie is one of those people. That is not to say it's been effortless because she has worked tirelessly to bring her vision to life. But rather that her point of view is so captivating and sharp that it feels like the culmination of one's life's work, but I know that she's only getting started. Don't miss the premiere of artist, actor, and writer. Plus this the like the Traveling Wilburys of sketch casts. Hall of famers! Every one of them. Come out this Tuesday at 7pm @ucbtla Sunset. I hoped back on here just for this.
