Welcome to the world Bowden Coale Johnsen! Born January 24th 2023 at 2:10 pm, weighing in at a sturdy 9 lbs 6 oz. We have been waiting for you a long time, with many ups & downs along the way, but boy were you worth the wait!

There have been so many emotions over the last 4 days, but the one I keep coming back to is gratitude.

I am grateful to my wife for her strength, 7 rounds of IVF treatment is pure hell…it was very taxing physically, mentally, and emotionally. It pushed us to our breaking point, but we chose to put our faith in each other, and it paid off in the best way possible. The last 3 years haven’t been easy, but we are coming out the other side stronger, and are better people & parents because of it. I love you deeply @caicojo, you are going to be an amazing Mom.

I am grateful to @christianacareobgyn for taking such great care of Lauren, Cait, and Bo. The nurses & doctors were so supportive & loving, they made us feel like family.

Last but certainly not least I am grateful to Lauren @lshivone , Allen, & the Fedale family. Words cannot describe what you all mean to us, you have given us an incredible gift that we can never repay. We are thankful for your selflessness, your love, and your faith, it has meant more to us than you will ever know. We started this journey 12 months ago as very dear friends, and we ended it as family. Bo is one lucky kid to be able to call you his Godparents.

There is no way to explain what we went through together, but this video comes close. Thanks @alfedale for being an incredible videographer and capturing the memories so perfectly! We love you guys so much. This isn’t the end, it’s just the beginning!

So…we are having a BABY! We were not really sure how to share this… It has been a hell of a journey. 7 failed rounds of IVF wasn’t easy. Enter Lauren and Allen Fedale (along with Ryder, Sade, Sawyer, and Leo) who offered to be our surrogate 💕Love you to the moon and back Fedale’s. I’m not sure how PC and I got so lucky to have such amazing friends/family members (sorry bout it!) CHEERS!
