We often leave home in search of somewhere else. Here, returning does not mean going backwards. It means learning to see a place again, through one another. Perhaps home is not something we inherit or return to, but something we can build, temporarily, anywhere.

𝗥𝗲:𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗡𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗯𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 : 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗵, 𝗘𝗰𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘆 Curated by Shuowen SHEN @echooo_shen Ecstasy has long named moments when the conscious self exceeds itself. Flesh, Ecstasy asks what happens when it is the body — not the self alone — that enters these states: through sex, dreams, rebellion, death, migration, and the everyday. Returning to the Greek ekstasis — “to stand outside oneself” — the programme turns toward the boundaries that such moments unsettle: between human and animal, body and landscape, memory and dream. Flesh is not what remains within these boundaries, but what emerges through their undoing. Seven works across fiction, animation, and expanded moving image. At a moment when political life hardens into fixed identities, what might ecstasy offer — not as escape, but as another way of sensing, relating, and becoming together? — 🎞 Line-up: LI Xinyi @lxyiiin_ , Modern Masturbation Allegory Ngoc Duy Le, Before the Sea Forgets Johee Oh @oohjohee @jungoh.film , The House of the Father Alfie Elms @alfieelms , Apus Apus (Aka Five Meals and a Swift) YI Yang @yangy12181 , John Wishes DENG Linlin @linavec_n , Where Rivers Part 水门的洞口 Laurence Ly @ly.laurence , Maybe in the Snow — Opening Night · 10 September · 18:00 · @giri.berlino Listening session by Temple Rat @meiyuxinmay · DJ set by CosmoCxndy @absolut_echo_x Followed by filmmakers’ Q&A and curator talk 🎟 Link in BIO (cash donation at entry) Credit Visual design : Minu KIM @works.minu ,Tuo Nick WANG @nick_99_11
