Perfect weekend taking care of our own with old friends and new ones @southernsmokefoundation I’m eternally grateful for this organization and what it means not only to the City of Houston, but the hospitality industry as a whole. In 2019, I totally blew out my C7 disk in my neck working a shift at work. I eventually reached out to @southernsmokefoundation and they made it possible for me to recieve a disk replacement. Before I knew they were willing to help, I truly didn’t know what I was going to do. I had constant nerve pain down my arm for 8 months, and had received all the possible treatments short of total replacement. Thanks to this foundation, I was able to get the surgery, and my physical therapy I needed after to be able to be fully functional and pain free again. @cshepherd13 and the people running this thing really do get the money in the hands of people who need it, and last night we raised a hell of a lotta cash. I couldn’t be more proud to be able have helped out at Fridays event serving @44farms and @truth_bbq Pastrami Sliders with @gailsimmonseats and @cshepherd13 . If you or a friend in the hospitality needs help, please reach out to @southernsmokefoundation, they may change your life.
