plastic Jesuses, lots of hair dye, travel, friends, sunsets, flowers, and art. originally this post was going to be a “peace out 2025, you won’t be missed” post. between the current state of our world, mental health challenges for myself and my friends, physical health problems that have no answers currently (ones that are affecting in my life greatly), and two really rough semesters of grad school, 2025 has been a rough year. however, in the midst of the turmoil and obstacles, a dear friend of mine reminds me of the glimmers of hope and light that serve as a, not so gentle, reminder of the privilege that I have to live another year. and I am truly grateful for the many blessings that have been sprinkled throughout this one. what a joy it is to live this life and journey through this world. 2026 is going to be a year of big change and I cannot wait to experience it. peace out 2025, I am glad I got to experience this piece of my lifetime <3
