🇰🇿 KAZAKH MIX

Discovering music from Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan continues to reveal new names and fresh sounds to the world blending modern style with deep emotional expression.

One of the standout tracks right now is:
🎧 ALHAM @alhambeat “Munaĭma” (Мұңайма)

ALHAM represents a new wave of Kazakh artists who combine minimalistic production, atmospheric sounds and emotional vocal, creating music that feels both modern and deeply personal.

“Munaĭma” (which translates roughly as “Don’t be sad”) carries a melancholic yet comforting mood. The track is built around soft instrumentation, subtle beats and expressive vocals, creating an intimate atmosphere that connects instantly with the listener.

The beauty of this song lies in its simplicity:
✨ honest emotions
✨ minimalistic sound
✨ deep lyrical feeling

It reflects a growing trend in Kazakh music
moving towards alternative pop, indie and atmospheric sounds, while still preserving the emotional depth of the language and culture.

Tracks like this show why Kazakh music is gaining more global attention; it feels authentic, emotional and universal at the same time.

🌍 A new generation. A new sound.
🇰🇿 But the same deep soul.

🌐 Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women 🌐

This photo is from a performance I once made dedicated to this topic. I literally decorated this top with the words 'PROHIBIDO EL PASO', which means 'Forbidden to pass'.

Every third woman in the world experiences violence. Рhysical, psychological, sexual, economic, or even digital. This is not someone else's problem; it’s our collective responsibility.
If you or someone close to you is experiencing violence — you are not alone.
Support and help exist, and it’s important to speak up.

Let’s work together to create a world where every woman feels safe and respected. Let's use our art to speak up and make the difference 💪

Here comes the end of a season where learning and excitement made this 2024-2025 season unforgettable, after having played in cities like Essen, Düsseldorf, Münster, Berlin, Wuppertal, and also, of course, Spain.

Thanks to all the promoters, friends, new friends, and family for supporting me and putting their trust in me. See you next season... 🖤❤️

In this performance, the checkered bag becomes a symbol of the ugly patriarchal system — one that turns women into lifeless dolls: pretty, silent, submissive.
It represents a world that steals our agency over our own bodies, suffocates our voices, and refuses to let us breathe.

I couldn’t be more grateful to have brought this performance to life alongside such powerful women.
Huge thanks to @alhambeat for the trust and for making this space possible.
🩵
