I successfully defended my dissertation on ADHD and leadership and graduated with my Ph.D. from Florida International University! 🎓🐆

I am incredibly grateful to my dissertation co-chairs, committee members, family, friends, and everyone who supported me throughout this journey. A special thank you to my Treble in Paradise A Cappella family. We have experienced low lows and high highs together, and forge forward through it all. 🩵🧡💛

My connection to my work is deeply personal. My parents discovered I was neurodivergent as a child, and I experience firsthand how autistic and ADHD characteristics can be strengths in leadership roles. I have also learned the importance of knocking on doors. Some open and others close, but you never know what opportunities may emerge when you keep knocking. Neurodivergent people can excel, and greater understanding of neurodivergence can help all of us become better leaders and colleagues.

For the fall semester, I will join William & Mary as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Management, where I will continue my research in organizational behavior and strategic management. I am looking forward to what I will learn in this next season! 🦅🦁
