@offspringhq partnered with @nike to bring together a team of community members who worked closely with Nike’s product designers to create a shoe that reflects their stories, identities, and daily inspirations. True to their commitment of “Offspring Community”, they also collaborated with @thisway.up_ the students from Chobham Academy to shoot the editorial campaign for the project. This Way Up is dedicated to sharing knowledge, opportunity, and experience from creative professionals to the next generation who will shape the space.

The process began with an immersive workshop at Offspring’s King’s Cross store, where members of the Community came together, divided into two groups, each armed with moodboards and concepts that captured their vision of a true “Community” sneaker. These sessions sparked conversations around materials, colours, and cultural influences that define both individual and collective experiences across the UK. From there, Nike’s design team refined the insights and returned with two initial concepts, which were further shaped through collaborative feedback sessions until the final design was born.

Offspring have always understood the importance of opportunity, platform, and representation in this space and this was no exception. Giving those who love sneakers the space to create, learn, and express themselves through design. A true “Community” sneaker and now worn by the many people who have kept the store open all these years. As their first Nike project they injected much needed energy into the silhouette and stands as a celebration of community, collaboration, and history #urbansyndicate

@nigelsylvester brick by brick Jordan 4 was released on Friday, and it did not disappoint, with many calling it the sneaker of the year already.

The community cleaned up with lots of wins.

Let us know below how you got on and what your thoughts are on them.
