If you only remember one money rule, make it The Rule of 72 ⏳✨

Here’s the simple formula they should have taught us in math class:

👉 72 ÷ your annual rate of return = the number of years it takes for your money to double. 📈

Look at the difference in real life:
🚗 Option A (Traditional Bank / Checking):
Keeping cash in a standard account earning ~1% interest…
72 ÷ 1 = 72 years just to double your money. 🛑 (And inflation eats half your buying power while you wait).

📈 Option B (Invested in Broad Market Index Funds):
Investing that same money at a historical ~8% average return…
72 ÷ 8 = 9 years to double. 🚀
Year 0: $10,000
Year 9: $20,000
Year 18: $40,000
Year 27: $80,000

Exact same money. Completely different future. 🕊️💸

Real question: Do you know the exact interest rate your savings is earning right now? Drop a YES or NO below 👇 (If it’s under 4%, we need to talk!) ☕👀

Going into debt to avoid an awkward moment is never worth it. ☕️

Protect your peace with these 3 simple boundaries:

1️⃣ “Not in my budget” is a full sentence. You don’t owe explanations.
2️⃣ Pivot the plan: Swap an expensive dinner for coffee or a walk.
3️⃣ Stay in your lane: Never stretch your wallet to match someone else’s spending style.

Protecting your future self is the ultimate form of self-care. ✨

Which boundary is the hardest for you to set? Drop it below! 👇
