Capitola Village is a thriving destination for locals and visitors, and the members of the Capitola Village Business Improvement Association (BIA) play an important role in making that happen.

The BIA is an organization of local business owners, volunteers, and residents who work together to support, promote, and strengthen ourbusiness community. Their mission is to help local businesses succeedwhile preserving the unique charm, character, and welcoming atmospherethat make Capitola Village so special.

Throughout the year, the BIA works behind the scenes on marketingefforts, community events, and tourism initiatives. From annual favorites like the Sip & Stroll to seasonal celebrations, the BIA helps create experiences that bring the community together and support our local shops and restaurants.

Their work is about building a strong local economy, encouraging people to shop and dine locally, and ensuring Capitola Village remains a destination people love for years to come. Next time you are in the Village, please take a moment to appreciate the hard work of these local business owners and community members.

I’m so honored to be a part of SANTA CRUZ OPEN STUDIOS ART TOUR 2026🎨 💎⚱️ It’s my 4th yr in a row & I couldn’t be more excited! You can visit my studio Oct 10/11 & 17/18 ARTIST #169 ALI OSBORNE (North & All County)

In the meantime @mkcontemporary.art is open to the public to view all participating artists. The space is absolutely breathtaking! Jewelry artists get a special spot front & center, I’m seriously so beside myself to be on display next to some of the most amazing jewelry artists in Santa Cruz County.

P.S. South County Open Studios is this weekend, if you have a chance to check out the artists, DO IT!
