I’ve been trying to find the words, but the truth is, I’m not sure there are enough of them.

This season gave me so much more than softball. It gave me memories, laughter, inside jokes, long conversations, hugs after tough losses, celebrations after big wins, and a group of girls who found a permanent place in my heart.

I didn’t realize how attached I had become until now. A song comes on, and I instantly think of a van ride, a practice, a game day, or one of your voices singing along. The smallest things bring back memories, and suddenly I’m smiling and crying at the same time.

You girls may have seen me as a coach, but the truth is that you impacted my life far more than you’ll ever know. Watching you grow, overcome challenges, support one another, and become the amazing young women you are has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

I am so incredibly proud of each and every one of you—not because of what you accomplished on the field, but because of who you are.

A piece of my heart leaves with this Team 11. I am going to miss the daily moments, the chaos, the laughs, and simply being around you girls more than I can put into words.

No matter where life takes you, know that I’ll always be cheering for you. I will always be proud to say I was your coach.

I love you girls. Thank you for one of the most special seasons of my life. ❤️🥎
