POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Before San Francisco learned how to say “Latino,” Puerto Ricans were already here, teaching the city how to fight. They came early, when the city was still deciding whether it would become community or just business—bringing political language, colonial memory, and a rage that already knew the system.

While others were finding work, they were organizing. While the city performed equality, they spoke about power, rights, and dignity. San Francisco learned to march in Spanish before it learned to celebrate it—and that doesn’t get said enough.

A lot of this city’s combative DNA—solidarity, Black and Latino alliances, the idea that the neighborhood defends itself—didn’t fall from the sky. It was brought here as structure, as consciousness.

But time passed, and the struggle changed its language. Racism doesn’t always shout now—it corrects, suggests, filters. It doesn’t say you don’t belong, it tells you how to be acceptable.

That’s where language becomes a battlefield. Before, we fought to exist—now we fight for how we’re allowed to exist. Two languages live in the same city: the street and the system. The problem isn’t both—it’s that one tries to dominate the other.

So the fight now is translation without loss. Move through both worlds without betraying yourself. Because when we’re divided, we get translated—but when we’re united, we define ourselves. And that’s where power begins.

Hey! I’m back and finally happy to share new #CiscoStories work with the San Francisco 49ers.

Behind the scenes, success is defined by silence. And the only time you notice the network is when it’s not working. So teams like the niners put a lot of effort into making sure everything is up and running, safely and securely, so that 70k fans have the best possible experience. And Cisco’s portfolio of solutions plays a big part in that.

As always - It’s a we thing, not a me thing, and I’m grateful for all the people that made this a memorable production.

Spent a few unforgettable days in Yosemite, watching the “fire fall”, setting up telescopes with @zoroirooni and stargazing before going deep into the backcountry, spending a few days at the Ostrander ski hut with the best crew @zoroirooni @ali_sv @uncommontribe
We covered over 40 miles and 4000+ feet of elevation to ski/snowboard deep in the wilderness. Exhausted, exhilarated, and more alive than ever! Huge thanks to @zoroirooni for putting together such an unforgettable adventure. @zoroirooni knows! Can’t wait for the next one

The highs and lows of the 2024 CrossFit Games:

To the GOAT Aimee Lyons @almotherofdragons – the Level 4, Seminar Staff Flow Master, and 17-year affiliate owner who welcomed me into her box in 2022. She became my coach for the Games that year, and together, we faced the challenges of 2023 to come back stronger in 2024, securing the title of 2x Second Fittest on Earth.

Aimee is more than a coach – she’s my friend, advocate, role model, mentor, and someone who never stops bringing out the best in me. Through every high and low, we’ve shared not just hard work but also a lot of laughter. I’m forever grateful for the incredible impact she’s had on my journey. Though, in 2025, we really need to work on our CrossFit math 🤣 Here’s to more wins, laughs, and growth together. 🙏💪 LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
