#NewNoise: Egyptian artist Ali Arafa turns isolation into a vibrant sanctuary on ‘Bagheeb’, offering a sun-drenched take on finding peace in spending time alone. Blending bedroom pop intimacy with Egyptian sensibilities, the track layers colourful instrumentation to create a warm, introspective space.

Produced by Ahmed Moheb, the track builds a nostalgic backdrop for Arafa’s quest for self-discovery. The arrangement is anchored by a busy, central bassline (courtesy of JIKA) and buoyant Arabic rhythms. Lush guitar layers and warm electric piano give the piece a dreamlike depth, while crisp percussion fills keep the groove moving forward as playful synths engage in a lively call-and-response with his smooth vocals.

Lyrically, ‘Bagheeb’ dives into the internal maze of overthinking, framing the act of pulling away from the world not as an escape, but as a necessary reset. By leaning into quiet retreat to clear the noise and locate his true self, Arafa delivers a cozy, dynamic track that spins personal solitude into sonic bliss.
