pt 2 in chicago: safety committee 🚦 ON TOP OF EVERYTHING RE: FORMFEST: THERE WAS A SECOND SHOW THE NIGHT AFTER. by an act of god and completely by chance, safety committee (@aquoferne, @glacierofficial, @alexander_panos, @acloudyskye, @paarkdtc) was booked with 4 out of 5 performers having appeared on a form compilation (ORRR having already performed at form fest in the PAST) on the poster. could not have been a more perfect coincidence. absolutely beautiful group of performers/organizers whose sets complemented ours so perfectly to make it a genuinely once in a lifetime weekend. i have loved all 11 of these performers since i heard even a second of their discography, even if it was 7 years ago or just last summer. it was unbelievably surreal stepping into the VJ booth for a moment during our show and just chatting with skye 24 hours before his performance— i’ve loved his music TO DEATH since we were both teenagers and look at where we are now! the amount of community i witnessed those two nights is genuinely unlike anything else. every single person was so kind and so excited to be there. exchanged so many hugs, words of praise, and dance moves with people i’ve hung out online with for years. truly nothing like it in the entire world!!!

Somehow we all managed to weather the storm that was 2025. What a crazy year. I started this night as an outlet to pull the trigger on a few ideas I’ve been kicking around in my head for years. Thankfully the amazing team and staff from @monkeyhouse_vt was game to provide a space to put the pieces together, and allow the magic to take place. It took a village of people to make SPARKOMATIK a reality, and because of you all, and everyone involved, it turned into something truly special. I am beyond grateful for each and every one of you for all the support, love, and encouragement. Over the year I made some new friends in addition to seeing a multitude of old ones. I forged new musical connections and rekindled some from years past. Tunes were made. Tunes were played. Both loud and proud, with massive help from @djwhatthebleep and his dedication to a booming sound system. Huge shout out to @silence_castor for a years worth of design work, in addition to some insane visuals and bonus experimental beats. Massive appreciation to all the performers, visual artists, and lighting crew for setting the whole venue on fire each show, alongside the photographers for documenting the madness. Endless love to my family @vermanamama @kylie_spiegs and Bowie for their continuous assistance and inspiration. I have begun work on the next round of this monthly event and have some fantastic things on the docket for the upcoming year ahead. Notably, a resident DJ team, extended hours of operation, return guest performances, first time ever Jungle/DNB sets, new schwag, possible merchandise, and much more in store for the 2026 season. We are doing it up proper EVERY THIRD SATURDAY NIGHT. Here are the dates for the entire year so you all can plan ahead and accordingly: January 17 - February 21 - March 21 - April 18 - May 16 - June 20 - July 18 - August 15 - September 19 - October 17 - November 21 - December 19 Thank you all so much for being a part of this movement. I am beyond grateful and truly looking forward to whatever comes next on this journey. Let’s get it ❤️‍🔥 Tricky Pat

BSA took over this months show on @koolfmofficial ➡️ tracklist Running steady since 2019, Bad Snares Anonymous has been going from strength to strength as a community of people in and around drum and bass who’re trying to grow and improve their craft one poorly crafted snare at a time… This mix is a little snippet of the past and the present, including classic tunes from people you already know and love and a couple from people you’ll get to know soon enough. It was a challenge to narrow down an hours worth of tunes so keep an ear out for future takeovers. Check the tracklist let us know which tunes you were feeling. Give that person a follow while you’re at it ✌🏿 Listen back & join us while you’re at it 🔗 in bio #drumnbass #drumandbass #bsa #badsnaresanonymous #dnb #koolfm #rinsefm #winslow #clangslow #stl #glasgow #usdnb

@alias_hallow Hallow [ @hospitalrecords / @1.more.thing.uk // MA ] The early 2020’s saw the rise of a new name circulating often within the liquid realms of the Drum n Bass world . Enter US based electronic music producer Hallow, hailing from the Northeast with a simple mission statement; “I make music to go for a walk in the woods to.” You can practically feel the trees watching as the beats flow from the sounds and energy they create. Often drawing inspiration from nature, identity and feelings, the emotions are ever so prevalent when listening to a Hallow production. Between a handful of self releases on @bandcamp , multiple accepted admissions for the @artbyform All Nighter compilation series, and a tune on the Winslow and Friends One project, it was only a matter of time before the rest of the industry took notice. Iconic label Hospital Records signed a tune featuring vocalist Xia for their final installment of the “Future Symptoms” VA EP series. “Dappled Light” is an ode to autumn, and a message of comfort and hope for the growing nonbinary and trans DNB { d-enby } community. In the years following, they have since released music for 1 More Thing, done some fantastic bootlegs and Extremely Nonbinary Drum N Bass Flips on their @soundcloud , and donated music to the Trans Pride Dub War Compilation raising money for Mermaids; a charity dedicated to supporting young transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse people in the United Kingdom. This will mark a debut performance in Vermont for Hallow, so come check the vibes, show some support, and give them a warm @sparkomatik Spring welcome to our little slice of happiness.
