"This is literally never gonna happen again in the same way that it is right now." - Hands Tander in slide 4 Y'all, I have been majorly lagging in posting the wonderful adventures of the summer that have been revitalizing my soul!!! CHURNING MAN 2026 gave me full body chills so many times from the intense JOY I continued to experience. Chills that read as a beautiful message from within, "you're exactly where you need to be right now, without question." Seeing old friends who I hadn't seen in years, befriending the most amazing kitty cat Shadow, traveling/cooking/swimming/laughing/loving SO FUCKING HARD with one of the pillars of my chosen family @mostly4_recipes, singing with @animalprince_ and meeting their Asheville/Florida AP fam, skinny-dipping in the most perfect lake of the summer, interacting with art and brilliant new friends, getting grief flogged out of my heart and massaged liked a beloved house cat - words cannot describe how much I needed this trip out East. I didn't know what to expect going in, and yet I couldn't have had any butter of an experience 🧈!!! I will cherish many of these moments and connections for the rest of my life. Thank you to EVERYONE who was part of building a butter world at @churning.man!!! Thank you Hands, my beloved, for hosting me in your home/tent/car and for being a magnificently loving, engaging, stunningly beautiful (inside n out!) life partner of mine on this wobbling planet in space. Thank you to @animalprince_ for being some of my favorite people to sing with - your generosity and love is so felt! Thank you to all the wonderful new connections I made along this journey - my first stay away festival!! ❤️🧈❤️
