Life lately and some thoughts:

Pursue genuine happiness. Be authentic to yourself. Prioritize your passions.

If you don’t know what your passions are: focus on unearthing your identity at it’s core. Who are you? Like for real. Face _your own_ wants and needs.

Stop lying to yourself to make yourself comfortable.
’Oh it’s not that bad. This is fine. I’ll survive.’
BUT WHAT IF YOU ACTUALLY ENJOYED LIFE BRO??? Like every day??

Change requires an inevitable pause and sitting in the uncomfortable reality of how things are. Truthfully.

Think about who you are when you’re alone. When you’re not wearing any of the social hats (parental, social, academic, career), what activities are you drawn to? Do you crave routine and continuity? Or are you more wired for diversity and change? Do the people around you add value to your life?

Now pause and think:

If given 6 months of free time, money and no one from your present life to witness it, what would you do?
(If your answer was abusing substances or people: seek help elsewhere)

I always hear people talk about how ’they’ve just ended up [in an unfulfilling situation]’, and I understand how that happens. But this is your sign to re-evaluate who and where you are.

Then figure out where and who you want to be. Come to terms with the fact that who you HAVE been has led you to this current place. Make changes accordingly bro. Act like the person you’re trying to become. You have FREE WILL.
