If you know Reunion, you know Mick.

I met her in the beginning of the pandemic, when her old employer sent her to learn how to make bread with us. What a mistake 😅 — she realized Reunion was way more fun, and there was a lot more to learn.

She’s done it all at the bakery, and having someone like Mick on our team has made our days so much better.

After all these years, she’s decided to follow her heart and move to the Big Apple. But here in Denver, we’ll be forever grateful for the early mornings (with very little sleep 😅), the hot summer markets, the motorcycle rides, her contagious laugh, and above all, her dedication and love for the craft.

We’ll miss you so very much, Mick. ❤️

May 2025>May2026
I had a whole introspective, mushy caption written that kept falling short of capturing the beauty, grief, joy, darkness and growth that occurred this last year. Then I came across this passage from one of my favorite authors @briannawiest that articulated it perfectly♥️ I will forever be living a life my 90-year-old self will be proud of.

“A beautiful life is not stumbled upon, it is built. It is chosen. It is nurtured over the years.
A beautiful life is made from the heart, not the head. It is not one we can rationalize our way into, it’s one that must be felt.
A beautiful life is not one that is immediately comfortable, but one grown through the acknowledgement of what is worth being uncomfortable for. It is not one that is easy, it is one that is worth it.
A beautiful life is composed of the things our 90-year-old selves would have wished we’d done with the years in which we were so young but didn’t realize, before the decades piled up and passed us by and we came to find how little time even the luckiest among us have.”
