Greetings fellow Chainers & Layniacs. As most of you who have been following my page for a long period of time, you know that when I find something new to share, I need to dig MORE!
•
What I found is not noted on Setlist.fm’s website nor on the concert archives website. Here goes…Alice in Chains had a few “one-offs” headlining shows while on tour as the opening act for “Van Halen”. On September 12, 1991 Alice headlined a free show at the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood.

“Whisky a Go Go” posted a couple of images from that night. The person who I actually found out about this show was my friend and photographer, Alison Dyer. On several of her Covid collages she included B&W pics of Layne and Alison added her light hearted writing on them (all of them) that said “Whisky a Go Go” on them. I also found an autographed press photo of AiC with info regarding the concert; this item appears to belong to a fan.
