Two weeks in Los Angeles. One experience I’ll never forget.

This summer, I spent two incredible weeks in LA, and it was truly the most inspiring experience of my life as a dancer. It was my first-ever Summer Finale with @monstersdance - in my favorite place doing what I love most.

I had the opportunity to meet, train with, and dance alongside so many incredible professional choreographers. In total, I took 17 different classes outside of my 5 days of Monsters training. I trained at 4 different studios, and was even invited to train at 2 more that I unfortunately just didn’t have enough time for!

This is just a little snapshot of some of the amazing teachers I got to meet. I wasn’t able to get photos with everyone, but every class, every correction, every combination, and every moment meant so much to me.

LA opened up a whole new world for me as a dancer. It pushed me, inspired me, challenged me, and reminded me just how much there is still to learn.

So grateful for this experience, and even more excited to see where this journey takes me next.

LA, I’ll be back. 🌴 ❤️

Huge thanks to @monstersdance !!!

Unbound Lucky Year Three 🍀

And lucky I certainly am. Feeling especially grateful as I was not in Seattle for many moons, but this team took the reins and DID THAT.

I am filled with pride and gratitude. Thank you to every faculty member that believed in our vision and every student that attended not just for themselves, but for others.

When I started Unbound, the idea was simple: uplift, integrate & celebrate. But it’s never been just about dance classes. This time around for me, the message was clear: community is not a passive entity. Each of us has a responsibility to be an active participant in the community we want to create. It’s not easy. But it is necessary and it’s worth it.

Not pictured are inception bombs and a whole mob of Lime scooters.

Tagged are all the incredible people that were involved in making this Unbound as amazing as it was. One day I’ll be better at taking pictures 🫡

Big big love 💜
