come get tattooed with me!

the devil is in the details ;)

film from my most recent session with @alihawkestattoo at New Rose Tattoo (@newrosetattoo) in Portland, OR.

in Tarot, The Devil is the card associated with Capricorn and represents our attachments, the material world, and the illusions that bind us—but it’s also a reminder of the power we have to break those chains once we face them.

1. let’s go!
2. say hi to Ali!
3. quick shave
4. oh sh!t it’s happening, try not to think about the pain.
5. spent a good amount of time staring at the ceiling - btw, thermostat is set to 69.

Thank you so so much, Ali!!

Oh where to begin. My sweetest Sigourney, how much I love you for going on this trip with me. It has genuinely been a dream and I couldn’t have asked for a better travel buddy. Portland was so, so beautiful genuinely like another world. And thank you so so so so very much to Ali (@alihawkestattoo) for creating and granting me the honor of forever wearing a masterpiece. (I put it on one of the last slides so nobody would unexpectedly scroll and see my buttcheeks) I wish already I could go back but the brown dirt state calls me home 😔. I saw so many beautiful new birds and met so many incredible people. What a life.

Ali, Your said “I can alchemize pain through actualizing pain’”
