I’m nominating myself for the best sister award! One of my favorite things to do is get gifts for my family and friends that they will truly love! I already knew I would be getting myself a leather jacket in Florence, and I thought let me get one for Inessa, now we can match!

Florence is known for their leather jackets and it’s really important to make sure you find one that is actually legit and good quality

Florence has been known for its leather craftsmanship for centuries, dating back to the Renaissance when skilled artisans perfected techniques that are still used today. Walking through the city, you can see why Florentine leather became famous around the world, from handcrafted bags and jackets to beautifully made accessories, each piece reflects generations of tradition, artistry, and attention to detail. There’s something special about bringing home a piece of Florence that carries so much history and craftsmanship.⚜️🇮🇹

excited about fall to wear this! #florence #florenceitaly #florenceleather #leather #shopping

Highly recommend @hotelsavoyflorence , our room had the most beautiful balcony facing Piazza Della Repubblica 😍 the ceiling in the room was also oversized which made the whole room feel spacious & romantic! Also we got to watch a parade from our balcony one morning which was really great!
This hotel is so close to Duomo and to both Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio! Loved that everything was walkable since you are in the center!
Not sponsored, personal opinion 💕

My itinerary! Save this for your trip!🫶🏼

📍ROME
Day 1 – Fly into Rome, this is a travel day so I like to take it light and plan around the jet leg. I stayed at Orient Express La Minerva so I planned around my hotel.

• Piazza della Repubblica
• Trevi Fountain (you need tickets if you want to get super close)
• Pantheon (you need tickets, make sure to get them on the OFFICIAL websites)
• Piazza Navona
• Dinner Gigi Rooftop (so amazing 100% recommend)

Tips:
• Go to Trevi before 8 AM for the fewest crowds and best photos.
• Visit it again after dark, it feels completely different.
• The Pantheon and Piazza Navona are an easy walk from Trevi, so you can do this entire route on foot.

Day 2 – Ancient Rome + Vatican
🏛️ Colosseum (10:15 AM) - try to go as early as possible especially if you are traveling in the summer (tickets are needed)
🏛️ Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (tickets are needed, the best part is that the ticket for the colosseum, Roman forum & palatine hill are combined and you have 24 hours from the time you select to visit the colosseum to visit the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill so you can split it up!)
⛪ Vatican Museums (tickets needed) I really recommend doing the open garden tour, it’s on a bus so it’s very comfortable and so beautiful! Only about 45 ish mins!
🎨 Sistine Chapel (inside the Vatican museum, in here you can’t take picture)
⛪ St. Peter’s Basilica - right outside Vatican City, tickets are needed as well
🇮🇹 Spanish Steps
🍝Dinner- I went to Rocco Forte Hotel de Russie for dinner and it was beautiful!
✨ Trevi Fountain at night

🎟️ Ticket Tips:
• Book Colosseum tickets as soon as they are released. The standard ticket includes the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill.
• Book Vatican Museum tickets online in advance same-day tickets can sell out, especially during summer.
• St. Peter’s Basilica is free, but security lines can take 30+ minutes during busy periods but if you buy a ticket there NO wait, I believe tickets are like 7 euros or so, so worth it, don’t waste your time!
• Download tickets to your phone or print

Perfect day in Rome 🇮🇹 truly in love with this city!

Some tips I gathered:

-Start sightseeing early. Major attractions like the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon are much quieter before 9 AM.
-Make sure to get tickets in ADVANCE online from the official websites of the attractions! Don’t waste time getting them on location because it’s too hot and the lines are long. Getting tickets in advance makes it so much easier and so fast!
-Wear comfortable shoes. Rome’s beautiful cobblestone streets can be tough on your feet, and you’ll likely walk far more than expected!
-Bring a small portable fan because in summertime it’s hot! With a fan and a hat it’s 100% times more pleasant & try to plan around the sun and weather

I’m completely obsessed with my stay at @orientexpresslaminerva in Rome! Btw, this is not a sponsored post and my own experience! 🫶🏼

First off I love the location, it’s located right in the historic center of Rome, steps away from the Pantheon & 10 min walk to the Trevi Fountain! The service was excellent from the moment we got there to the moment we left! The best part was after check in, they gifted me a beautiful flower bouquet since it was the start of birthday celebration! The flowers were soo beautiful and it was such a nice surprise! The room itself was gorgeous, I love how it’s modeled after their luxury trains. I was in love with the Juliet balcony and the room itself was so spacious!

They also left another birthday surprise in the room which made the whole stay so special! Every morning at breakfast, they have a musician playing the harp… it’s just the perfect start to the day!

Also on top of this hotel is @gigi_restaurant_roma which is a rooftop and omg the views, food, everything was soooo stunning!!!!

Truly miss it already and can’t wait to be back 🥹🫶🏼 #orientexpress #rome #travel #luxurytravel #luxuryhotels
