A few hours in Strasbourg
Gothic details, Fachwerk houses, croissants, kids running through fountains and absolutely no real plan🧡

Took the kids to Europa-Park.
Accidentally had more fun than them.
Roller coasters, water rides and several questionable decisions later, but no regrets. 🎢

Burg Guttenberg.
Seeing birds of prey flying freely above us, without a single net overhead, was something really special!

Some of them can’t survive in the wild because of injuries or because they were born in captivity.

Inanna Ascending or My Big Healing October 🍂

This October gathered every meaning and sealed every question.

An October that healed me, pieced me back together, and wrapped me in warmth.

Through the caring hands of women, the steadfast backs of men. Through a song rising from the very centre and eyes opened so wide it hurt.

Through the rustle of leaves beneath my feet and a deep, unwavering love for the word “alive.”

Again, I find myself in that liminal space, where the strategies I’ve perfected for years just stop working and I realize I no longer benefit from the golden cage my mind built to keep me safe.

These moments feel unbearably fragile. Naturally I want resolution. I want things to go back to how they were or I catch myself grasping for a new structure, or for anyone who might offer me a ready-made solution.

But I’ve learned that these quick fixes only lead to new forms of restraint. The temple cannot be saved. I have to let it fall.

In psychology, this is often called “ego death” or “disidentification from an old self-structure”.

And if I can stay with the discomfort of non-doing, if I can resist the urge to act on anxiety, I know something will happen.

A real impulse will arise. An impulse free from external stimulus. Clear. And that impulse becomes the way.
