I have zero words. I have been riding the high from Saturday for the past few days and it all felt like the best dream I’ve ever had. The week of the wedding was extra crazy with Hurricane Isaias hitting land and us not knowing how it would impact our day. All of the plans I had made the entire year got switched around the day before. The morning of the wedding, I remember waking up and seeing the rain running down the window so peacefully, and feeling this calm knowing the day would be perfect no matter what. It was pure bliss. I’ve never felt so much love in one room before. CJ and I are eternally grateful for everyone who traveled, took time away from their kids, etc. to be there with us. ❤️❤️ It truly was the best day of our lives.

I think I'll go for a walk outside now the Summer sun's been calling my name...or.. just stay home and watch one of the best reboots of a TV show to movie that I can think of... this movie is basically a parody of its source material (let's put the classic 70s family in the 90s and see what happens) but uses all the similar gags and nostalgic bits from the show that just make this movie pop! It's fun to laugh at and with, it's quotable, and Christine Tayler plays a perfect Marsha!
Time to get "Skeweled", with the 90s gem The Brady Bunch movie!! Enjoy!! Oh and watch the sequel too, it's just as good! #channelchangers #channelchangerspod #bradybunchmovie

If you’re looking for a movie with ancient curses, ridiculous amounts of sand, and Dwayne Johnson playing a giant CGI scorpion before CGI scorpions were cool… watch The Mummy Returns.
It’s got Brendan Fraser punching mummies, Rachel Weisz doing basically everything, and a plot that moves at the speed of a runaway camel. Is it completely bonkers? Yes. Is it scientifically accurate? Absolutely not. Is it a great time? Also yes.

Going a little too far to make a wedding feel like our couple? Guilty as charged. 🙋🏼‍♀️

During the design process, T&C told us there really wasn’t anything that exciting about them. (Their words, not ours!!!) We knew our bride loved COLOR and wanted something bold, but we were still looking for that little something that would make the design feel centered around them.

And then we found out they were movie people. Like, REALLY movie people.

Say less 🎬🍿

Once the gears started turning, we knew the seating assignments could come from a custom ticket booth. The bar would be labeled as Concessions. Tables named after their favorite movies. Freshly popped popcorn became the late-night snack. And just like that, little nods to their shared love of movies started showing up throughout the entire evening.

Could we have stopped at bold colors and beautiful flowers? Sure. But pretty isn’t really the point.

We want your guests to walk into your wedding and immediately know whose wedding they’re at. Even if you swear there’s “nothing exciting” about you when we first ask. 😉

Give us one little thread, and we WILL pull on it.

Mod Max: Take a trip back in time with this retro-chic design at Graduate by Hilton Lincoln.

Drawing inspiration from the carpet, 402 Events crafted a midcentury modern wedding design that embraced the hotel’s retro atmosphere. “With it leaning midcentury modern, we wanted to highlight rich tones and unique shapes to bring the feeling of a midcentury modern home to life,” Makayla Weeks, event manager at 402 Events says.

Seemingly plucked from a different decade, the dining scene flawlessly blended rich wood-colored walls, checkered carpet and an array of jewel-toned hues. Of the Earth Florals garnished the table with poppies, parrot tulips, gerberas and hyacinth, creating an alluring tablescape, while vintage and thrifted vessels added to the nostalgia. Wooden flatware and plates set atop the velvet tablecloth carried texture throughout as scalloped edges and patterned napkins added another layer of visual interest. The cherry on top? A mini cake by Butterfly Bakery at each place setting.

A wedding that was quite literally straight out of a fairytale, perfectly fit for the setting @the_fountains_ballroom 🖤

Blaine + Cody’s day felt grand in all the right ways, while still warm and intimate. Candlelight filled the ballroom, their ceremony was set against the venue’s iconic rock + waterfall, and a personal projection during dinner made the evening feel completely their own.

Romantic, dramatic + full of thoughtful details from beginning to end. ✨
