Halloween is coming… 🎃👻
And this year, we decided to get a little EXTRA. 😈

We brought in a special effects makeup artist @alisichmua to transform Jordan into… WAIT. WHAT?! Does Harley Quinn have a long-lost sister?! 🃏💋

Looks like chaos runs in the family.

Stay tuned… things are about to get wicked! 🖤
________

Jordan’s costume and wig are from @spirithalloween, our regular place of inspiration.

When @alisichmua’s makeup art project was supposed to create an alien witch… 👽🧙‍♀️
… but somehow she ended up creating @milano_alyssa in her Charmed era. 😂✨

Love it🔮

Hello fall! 🍂

A crown created almost entirely from TESSA Alstroemeria. Burnt orange, golden yellow, deep red, peach and cream, bringing together the full spectrum of fall. Sometimes we forget just how much Alstroemeria can do. Beyond the everyday bunch is a flower with incredible movement, color, texture and versatility and in the right hands, it can become something completely unexpected. 🔥

How do you define a "monster"? 🤔

Welcome to this round of The Art & Alchemy Project that's all about monsters. Whether frightening, not frightening and even pleasant to look at, mythical, made up, or something we face in real life, monsters are woven into our day to day.

What makes something monstrous? How do personal definitions differ from the general consensus?

Thank you to the wonderful creators who contributed their art! 🙏🏼 Your interpretations are very much appreciated. The depictions cover a wide range on the monster spectrum, with some sure to provide food for thought.

💫The #ArtAndAlchemyProject is where we transform into art what we feel, what speaks to us, what we are processing, and sometimes what we resist. Reasons for this could include fostering self-awareness and growth, and to have a therapeutic outlet for this kind of expression along with a space to share it. Introspection and reflection are called for, as well as a bit more stepping outside our comfort zone.

While Art & Alchemy is open to everyone who is interested, each theme is revealed with a roundup of a few creations that have already been completed before the theme is publicly disclosed.

👉🏼If you haven't yet, LET ME KNOW if you would like to be part of a future post, and I will get in touch. I keep the number of participants on the lower side per round so everyone's creations can get more attention, but I have a list of those who have expressed interest, and am so excited for more of these! 🤗

In no particular order, here are the creators as they appear when swiping through the carousel. Look for their individual posts as well for more details 💖

💯Customer reviews:

This is such a cute wig! The hair is easy to manage and there is almost no shedding of the hair when you brush or move it for styling. Fits really well and secure on my head. I was genuinely surprised at how nice it was as I got this for a cosplay idea.
