Happy Birthday to one of the most important people in my life, my forever best friend, my ride or die, and truly my sister by choice. 🥹❤️🎂

It’s crazy to think about how long we’ve been doing life together. From being kids with absolutely no idea what life would look like, to growing up, changing, making mistakes, chasing dreams and laughing until we cry. 🫶🏼

There are so many memories we’ve made that I could never even begin to put into one post. The trips, the nights out, the ridiculous moments that only we could find funny, the secrets that will go to the grave with us 😂, the tears, the celebrations, and all the moments in between. Some of my favorite memories in life have you in them. ❤️
You are one of those rare people who knows the real me…the good, the bad, the crazy, and everything in between and loves me anyway. 😂 And I hope you know that feeling is completely mutual. I will always be in your corner, cheering you on, laughing with you, crying with you, and probably getting us into some kind of trouble along the way. 😜🥂

Some friendships just get better with time… and I’m so lucky to have one of those friendships with Alison. 🥹💗

After all these years of friendship (30+ yrs and counting!) , she still somehow knows exactly how to surprise me, make me smile, and remind me just how loved I am. 🥰✨

Today she surprised me with a “Someone Loves You” box filled with the sweetest goodies 🎁💝 and honestly, it couldn’t have come at a better time.

It’s the little things… the unexpected surprises, the thoughtfulness, and simply knowing someone took the time to make you feel special. 💕

Our big boy, Gregory David, turned 7️⃣ this month. And although his birthday was back on the 17th, it has been hard for me to create and post this video. 😭

As we get older in general, we realize just how quickly life is passing us by. But I truly don’t think it’s until you have a child that you realize just how quickly time actually passes.

It is one of the most beautiful things to watch him grow up and see his personality shine… but it is also one of the hardest things to watch him grow older. You realize that you’ll never have a newborn again, never have a toddler again, and the years just continue to go by. 🥹

Time, unfortunately, doesn’t slow down. So I have to do better at creating a timeline that is mostly around him, so I can take in every single moment and truly be present for all of it.

This little boy is such a comedian, amazingly smart, and has the sweetest heart. He’s in first grade, and I’m a proud mother to say he tests in math at a fourth grade level! I mean square roots and algebraic expressions are his favorite yall! But beyond how smart he is, I’m most proud of the beautiful person he is becoming. 💙

I am beyond blessed that I was chosen to be his mommy. I will continue to give him an amazing life, protect him, love him, guide him, and cherish every single year I am blessed to have with him.

My biggest prayer is that I get to watch him grow for another 50+ years. 🙏🏽

Happy 7th birthday, my sweet Gregory David. You will forever be one of the greatest blessings of my life. I love you more than words could ever explain! 🎉 🥳
