Take us back to Shanghai 🥲

It’s been a crazy few weeks 🤯

From the high of World Champs and then heading to China 🇨🇳 It was so much fun winning Shanghai Sprints in the women’s double with Mags 🥇 and getting to race in Ireland’s first ever mixed eight 🇮🇪

It was a wild week, with every race throwing something unexpected our way, but we had so much fun, learnt a lot, and made some pretty special memories along the way 🫶

Now it’s time to get back to training 😈

🥇 WORLD CHAMPIONS 🥇

I don’t think it’s ever going to feel real to say that we are World Champions.

If anybody knows me, they’ll know there have been plenty of downs and hard moments in this sport, so to have this moment now makes every single one of them feel worth it. 💚

We had a dream this season, but that dream would never have been possible without an army of people behind us.

Thank you to @mags_cremen for trusting me, believing in me and being there every step of the way.

Thank you to Dominic, Denise, Ed, Lorenz and all of our support staff for backing us throughout this journey and believing in this moment before we ever did.

Thank you to our families for always being in our corner, through every high and low along the way.

Thank you to our unbelievable teammates who supported us day in, day out and made this whole journey one we’ll never forget.

And thank you to my incredibly supportive colleagues at @deloitte_ireland, who gave me the flexibility to continue pursuing my career while also chasing this dream.

I don’t think I’ll ever fully believe it, but it’s pretty fun trying to anyway…
