It’s crazy to think I began this show when I was 15 and now I’m almost an adult. It feels like such a big part of my life and it will be very weird to let it go. After 203 Bob performances, 66 Henry Doubles, 33 Teds, 22 Walters, 20 Alans, and lots of Pierres, yesterday I said goodbye to these wonderful people and this crazy crazy show. It’s hard to put a year and a half of my life into words but I do know that I’ll never forget this time with some of the most uplifting people I’ve ever met. so much love for hawkins ❤️❤️❤️❤️🕷️

Alison Jaye outlines how she keeps curiosity and honesty at the center of her artistry when the world around her wants her to fit into a box. From Mary Poppins and Sunday In The Park With George to Shameless and Stranger Things: The First Shadow, the constant is her sense of self.

the year and a half exploring and playing james hopper jr. has been .… i post things on average 3-6 months after the fact, and, yet, even now, i am at an emotional loss for how to succinctly and precisely articulate the innumerable ways in which this character, show, company, and ~shift~ has so totally altered my heart, my breath, my life : my spirit.

what is most clear is how it introduced me to an incredible group of artists on/backstage that simultaneously sought to bring their best selves everyday despite also making this near-absurd show actually possible. without each of those performers and technicians, without the creative team that gave us the freedom to investigate these beloved characters, and without the family and friends who showed up in whatever way they could to support me throughout the entirety of this pRoCeSs, i can say with certainty that i would be far less sane and whole. thank you.

big shout out to the new and old fans/audiences that showed up each night to dive into this story with us. it is in that space between our breath and yours that brought this world to life, and how lovely to know that we will continue to experience that wonder, tragedy, awe, and hope together again each time we return to the theatre. this art form is so very special, and for this show to have pushed the boundaries of what is possible, while also having it’s core remain grounded in community is a gift of the form. thank you for supporting that here and forever more.

special thanks to DDLs, juys, and that iowa firefighter who taught me to stop-drop-and-roll back in pre-school.

p.s. this is the last show my grandma got to see me in. her belief, joy, and passion for the arts is at the center of who i am and i will forever be grateful to her for her sustained love and support. love you.

I’m pictured with hollywood veteran @dermotmulroney Who’s character beats my azz. First pic is me and my gf Zo, played by the talented @alisonjaye who literally just got off Broadway where she played Winona Ryder’s character in Stranger Things. And, no, you’re not seeing double that’s my stunt double who is a pro wrestler for AEW @superstarkm This was a really great experience. Can’t wait until DRIFTER is released in 2027 by @randallemmettfilms

HAPPY 10 YEARS OF STRANGER THINGS! ❤️

i dont even know where to begin, this show has changed my life in so many ways. it feels like this show has been with me my entire life! i cant believe the first time i turned this on was the summer before 8th grade, MIDDLE SCHOOL! and its followed me all the way through high school and then after and into my early adult life! like what do you mean i was 13 when it came out and now im 23? this show has truly seen me in my absolute best and absolute worst times in my life.

ive had so many incredible experiences, traveled so far, to meet some of the cast, to visit actual filming locations! some of which dont even exist anymore like the lab and the school :( which makes me even more grateful to have been and gotten to see them. and it was alongside my amazing sister so thank you again sammi for doing all that driving, i hope you had as much fun as i did! ive made so many amazing friends through this show, and gotten even closer to existing friends. 🫶

thanks to the cast for being so sweet when i met them. genuinely some of the best actors out there! and ST introduced me to one of my favorite artists ever! who i’ve seen in concert 3 times now and ill never get over it! special thanks to djo for making the albums that changed my life!!

if ur in any of these pictures just know ur part of my most cherished memories and im so glad i got to do these things with you! even ppl who aren’t pictured who still send me edits, memes, or anything related to the show i love you all so much and am so happy this is what brings us together! huge shoutout to all my ST friends cause yall are what makes all of this worth it <3

i know this seems cheesy and like “who cares it’s just a show” but ST really is my life. my favorite show of all time and nothing could ever replace it. just want to show my appreciation for its 10 year anniversary! from a day 1 fan! god i really can’t believe it’s been that long. wdym a whole decade!? anyways if even one person took the time to read this tysm ily ❤️ hopefully this was comprehensive and made sense LMAO

so happy 10th birthday stranger things. thank you for everything. 🛼🕹️🧇🚲
