From the day we’re born, we’re handed a script for what it means to be successful: go to school, build a career, find love, buy a home, retire. And somewhere along the way, we start attaching our happiness to what comes next.

But what if we went off script?

What if, instead of obsessing over tomorrow, we let ourselves fully experience today? We get so focused on summiting the next mountain that we forget to stop and take in the view from the one we’ve already climbed.

Of course, life feels incredible when you reach a new checkpoint. Celebrate it. Be proud of it. But don’t make the mistake of believing happiness is waiting for you at the next destination. There is beauty in the climb. There is beauty in the pause. There is beauty in the life you’re already living. So keep climbing. Keep dreaming. Keep moving forward. Just don’t forget to look around and enjoy the view you’ve already earned.

Bloom night 4/10/2026
This month’s Bloom was such a blessing! Homemade focaccia pizzas 🍕 (thank you, Miss Ali!) and the discussion and talk led out by Miss Ali.
Miss Ali shared her testimony and how God showed up in her life during the transition time between high school and college. And how Romans 8:26-28 was really what helped her navigate through the tough decisions young women face during that crucial time in their lives. We discussed that when we are in prayer and submission to God, there’s literally no way our plans will fail. Because He has a way of making things work out for His glory at the end. Amen to that! We also got to sing happy birthday to our birthday girls, Mikala and Emily!

Thank you for leading out, Miss Ali! What a wonderful turn out this month. See you at the next one! 🌸🫶🏽

3rd Annual BLOOM retreat 2026 hosted by Southeastern California Conference 🌸🫶🏽

On the weekend of 3/6-3/8, a group of all of the high school ladies got to celebrate International Women’s Day at Pine Springs Ranch! The conference hosted another lovely event for high school ladies that included a beautiful worship set up, Pastor Amalia Goulbourne spoke to us about the power of spiritual and God led friendships and how important it is to uplift each other as the Bible says we should! We also had BLOOM groups to discuss, and amazing workshops! The workshops this year were very much geared towards creatively and art, which our ladies really enjoyed! The weekend ended with a fashion show, Senior Sisters sharing advice to the younger high school girls, karaoke, and more! Such a fun time!

We are so thankful for our conference that invests in our young people! Thank you again, @seccyouth and special shout out to Pastor @alexymondak for your leadership with this amazing event! 🌸🫶🏽
