WOW! Another amazing weekend in the books with the best crew ever. This weekend jumped into the first half of the classical repertoire exercises. IYKYK. So many of these exercises were new to the group so we had a lot of fun learning and understanding the method!

We dove deep into each exercise and learned how to:

1. Perform the exercise personally
2. How to cue the exercise
3. How to modify or change the exercise without losing its essence
4. Form corrections we can make for clients

We wrapped up the exercises by teaching in the classical order with partners! This group is improving and getting more confident every day!

Besides the exercises, we talked more about the business of becoming a Pilates instructor. There are things we can start now that help build the foundation for teaching later on:

1. Personal liability insurance for fitness instructors
2. Starting an LLC and getting your EIN #
3. Opening a business bank account to flow all of your income through
4. Navigating the differences of being a W2 employee vs 1099
5. Understanding write offs for taxes to help us save money later on!

I can’t wait for us to pick up where we left off later this month! ❤️

If you’re interested in starting your Pilates instructor journey, applications for Term Two are STILL open until the end of March! Apply with the link in bio!!
