To the City of Rochester and the Rochester Honkers,

As my time in Rochester comes to an end, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on everything this summer has meant to me. It’s hard to put into words just how grateful I am for the opportunity to be a part of the Rochester Honkers organization and to coach this incredible team.

From the moment I arrived, Rochester welcomed me with open arms. The city, the fans, the host families, and everyone involved with the Honkers made this place feel like home. What started as a summer opportunity quickly became an experience that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

To the players and staff, thank you for making every day special. We shared countless hours at the field, long bus rides, tough losses, exciting wins, and memories that I’ll never forget. Somewhere along the way, this team became so much more than a group of teammates. You became my brothers. The bonds we built, the laughs we shared, and the support we gave one another are things that can never be replaced.

Baseball has a unique way of bringing people together, and this summer proved that to me more than ever. I came to Rochester hoping to help make a positive impact on the team, but the truth is that all of you made an even bigger impact on me.

Leaving Rochester is not easy. I’m going to miss the ballpark, the community, the fans, and all the little moments that made this summer so special. Most of all, I’m going to miss being around this group every single day. While our time together may be ending, the friendships and memories we created will last forever.

Thank you, Rochester, for embracing me. Thank you, Rochester Honkers, for trusting me and giving me an opportunity that I will always cherish. This city and this team will always hold a special place in my heart.

✌🏼 Rochester ❤️
