you discover how easy it is in life to part ways with people forever. That’s why, when you find someone you want to keep around, you do something about it.

SIMS 2026🇧🇷
Thank you for giving me this amazing opportunity to create new memories, friendships, and family bonds that will last me forever. Thank you God for working in ways that are obvious it could only be from You. Lastly, TYJ for being with us during this whole trip💕

Vá. Ame. Sirva.

Brazil, thank you so much for the growth, memories, and challenges you’ve brought into my life.

To my team, thank you for putting up with me and listening to the same 4 stories about 50 times. Thank you for challenging me, making me laugh, angry, annoyed, and tired. Thank you letting me be a small part of your lives.

To my host family, thank you for letting me disrupt your life and treating me like an extension of your family. There are no words I can say that will be enough thanks for the words you’ve spoken into and over my life.

To the kids at EIPG, thank you so much for welcoming and loving me, even though I never won a game of futebol. Thank you for teaching me patience in communication and how laughter is universal.

To Igreja do Nazareno Central de Campinas, thank you for serving us more than we could ever serve you. Thank you for challenging me to step out of my comfort zone and teaching me that the spirit moves across languages.

To everyone we came across, thank you for softening my heart and teaching me to love more. Every name, face, and personality pushed me closer to the love of our Savior. Thank you for teaching me how to serve wholeheartedly.

Acts 20:35: “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ “
