Another year, another weekend in the Forest of @paradisecityofficial Festival. Something about this year that felt as special as the first. So much joy and fun, incredible music and so many laughs throughout each and every single day. You could not convince me there is anywhere else I should rather be but with my friends and my favourite artists, right there, despite the heat, despite the hours and the storm. People ask me why I still do this stagemanagement & production thing while I obviously don’t need to, … well it’s cause I want to, because I love the people I work with, from production to lights, from media to volunteers & security. There’s a level of benevolence, dedication and cooperation that is nowhere else to be found. Also I just loved kicking important people out of the dj booth while wearing booty shorts and confusing strangers with my 7th degree of sarcasm and backwards humor. But I digress, love you guys and thank you for being such a beautiful a part(y) in my life.

Love to love you, Horst. For someone who has followed this festival like a cult since 2017, this one meant a lot.

Thank you to everyone who joined us so early, even with the shaky weather conditions. 4.5 hours flew by! 💕

Some presences shape a night in ways that go beyond the obvious. For years, she’s been part of the fabric behind the scenes as booker of Horst. A sharp instinct, and a (not so) quiet and sassy force that never goes unnoticed by those who know. Not one for the spotlight, yet essential to everything around it.

Tonight we turn the spotlight for once in her direction by celebrating her birthday. Happy birthday Alix have a good one!
