@blackstarfest you were INCREDIBLE 🤩!!! Truly a film festival like no other in the heart of Philadelphia 🌇.

Had a blast discovering new films with my fellow Billie Holiday Theatre scholars, and so wonderful to connect with some awesome filmmakers from around the world 💕

Thank you to all the incredible filmmakers who shared such inspiring, joyful and touching movies - feel like I got to witness a lil bit of magic on screen ✨

As for a college education, it will be superseded.

What a privilege and honor it was to serve this Knockout, No Limit, Notorious chapter for 3 years. Thank you Kappa Omicron for giving me the opportunity to make a greater impact and the gift of a sisterhood deeper than the letters on our chest. I choose you again and again. ♥️

Thank you all for supporting our performance. Creating Fight Like Hell has changed my life. I’ll have more words soon, but for now here’s some snapshots.

Kristie Puckett, Latisha Facyson, Pamela Winn, Tiawana Brown you survived the unimaginable - so that WE, your beloved community, could support you in the fight to ensure no one else has to endure this. We got yall! 🤎

For the past three months, we have collaborated on Fight Like Hell. When I asked why each person wanted to be involved they said one of two things: they wanted to be a part of something that had the power to make change happen, and/or they believe in me and what I was trying to do. I can’t begin to describe what this meant to me.

I will never forget how I have felt witnessing so many people coming together to get us to the stage.

We open in two days and I am full of gratitude.

I love y’all. Thank you for giving me all you had night after night - you have nourished my soul & brought me back to my purpose.
