78 Pueblos y 1 Bandera CLE was more than a celebration. It was a reminder of the power of connection, the importance of honoring our roots, and the healing that happens when we come together.

Por generaciones, los puertorriqueños han hecho de Cleveland su hogar. Muchas familias llegaron aquí en los años 50 y 60, dejando la isla para construir algo nuevo.

Esta es una de las razones por las que quisimos traer esta iniciativa a Cleveland. Representa la belleza que puede surgir de las dificultades y los sacrificios, al igual que la resiliencia de las generaciones que abrieron el camino para que hoy estemos aquí.

No importa a dónde nos lleve la vida, siempre podemos apoyarnos en nuestra cultura, nuestra historia y nuestra comunidad.

Recuerda: Lo que necesitas ya está dentro de ti. 🩵♥️

It’s hard to believe two weeks have already passed since we came together for 78 Pueblos y 1 Bandera CLE. 🇵🇷❤️

Without our community, none of this would have been possible.

Thank you to our incredible team, to Héctor for bringing this vision to life, and to every volunteer, sponsor, vendor, artist, performer, organization, and community member who helped make this day possible.

This has always been about so much more than a flag or a mural. It’s about culture, connection, mental health, hope, and creating spaces where our community can come together and heal.

That day brought together people across generations, cultures, and backgrounds. It reminded us of the power of showing up for one another and that none of us have to navigate life alone.

There is hope. There is healing in community. ❤️‍🩹

On the surface, we all carry on with life as usual. We smile, we work, we talk, and present ourselves as if everything is normal.

But beneath that surface, every person carries an entire world within them. A mosaic of thoughts and emotions. Worries about the future. Memories of the past. Grief we carry with us. Visions of the future we hope to create.

This is part of the duality of being human. Someone can appear happy on the surface while being tormented inside. We can carry beauty and pain, hope and fear, strength and vulnerability all at once. That is the complexity of the human condition.

Knowing this should change the way we see and treat one another. Whenever you meet someone, consider them. Honor them. Treat them with compassion because you never truly know what they may be carrying beneath the surface.

I dedicate this video to those who lost that inner battle, and to the loved ones who continue forward carrying a piece of their hearts missing.

What an honor and a blessing it was to capture the painting of the Puerto Rican flag and witness Hector PR in his element. If you were there, you would have seen the dedication and passion he brought to the painting. His story is deeply touching, and you can feel the weight and purpose behind everything he does.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, and to everyone who came out to celebrate. This event truly showed the healing power of community and how coming together can help mend the heart.

the end of my twenties, the celebration of my thirties — to look out and see the garden of flowers in front of me shows that love can grow anywhere, with kindness, curiosity, dedication, and love. thank you all for loving me, I’m so so so blessed to be loved by you, and I can’t express how much I will cherish you all. from decade long friendships, to ones that are just growing, you all have left a mark on my soul.

On September 4th, I turned 27! This is this first birthday I’ve celebrated in 2 year without tears! Instead, I was surrounded by the people who genuinely love and cherish me and for that I am beyond blessed. Thank you to EVERYONE who showed love and support it means the most.

Special shoutout to @diviine_______ for spearheading party planning and making sure I had little to nothing to do with it. In the short time that we’ve known each other she’s done nothing but pour love and encouragement into me. She’s the perfect embodiment of “you haven’t yet met all of people who will love you in this lifetime”.

Yesterday was one for the books! 🩷🌸

TheSweatStandard Run Club hosted our very first all-girls run, and the energy was EVERYTHING! 🎀✨

We brought the girls together for a fun 2-mile run to @ebreeqcoffee shop ☕️, then made our way back to where we started! Lots of miles, lots of laughs, and even more good vibes!

What made this run so special was the kindness, encouragement, and genuine joy everyone brought along. There’s nothing like running with a group of women who make you feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated every step of the way. So huge thank you to these amazing ladies! 🩷

Thank you to @hotworxrockyriver for gifting us with the perfect post-run remedies! ✨
