We met some great new friends while competing in Ironman 70.3 Oman. The volunteers were awesome and we were able to get a pic with some who were extra awesome. Note that when you ask someone to take pictures, you may end up with some unexpected shots.

Overall, the race was great. The water mostly cleared up for the swim, the one loop bike course was very scenic, and the run passed the famous Opera house and had great beach views.

We aren’t headed home quite yet. We are staying in the Middle East and will compete in Ironman 70.3 Dubai next weekend.
