That’s a wrap on @nzfashionwk !! And what a week it was.

Here’s a little glimpse into some of the highlights, faces, fits and of course delicious bites by @tom_hishon that made the week what it was. From Tiramisu blancs by day, to ‘oyster hour’, espresso martinis, the most insane truffle parm fries and plenty of champagne by night.

A huge thanks to everyone that helped us put on an epic hospitality offering, with special thanks to our front & back of house team of hospo legends, @goodspiritsnz on the bar, @coffee_supreme for helping us keep the runway caffeinated, @royallaboratorie for providing the gorgeous glass & serve-ware, @fiona.hugues for her styling, and to the entire @nzfashionwk team bringing this mammoth event to life celebrating the best of Aotearoa fashion & lifestyle.

4 months of work, 16h days, 30,000 steps, feeding 12,000 guests over the week, (no tears yet)… working with the A team has made it all worth it x

That’s a wrap on our Tāmaki episodes for Season 3 (!!) of the @kitchenday.nz podcast 🎙️💫

I’ve had *the best* week sitting across from people in this industry whom I admire GREATLY and having them tell me (us!) their stories, letting us in on their journeys and processes and all the wild lessons learned along the way.

Something fun I did this season was really dress for the occasion and I got to really push the boat out with help from the talented @bonny.beattie whose wardrobe is every woman’s wonderland 👗

I couldn’t do these crazy things without the help and support of my main squeeze @chefhaydenmcmillan who holds down the fort for me at home when I’m off playing grown ups

And to the legend that is @shootjono @empirefilmsnz thank you so much for making me look and sound so profesh, you can literally build a podcast studio anywhere and I couldn’t be more grateful that we’ve got you in our corner!

Two more eps to go back home before we edit and release (looking at you @sophsegan and @justinmck.wgtn 👀)

Final word / how excellent and magic is hospitality and the people who have devoted their lives to it?! What an important and special industry, so worthy of our respect. This is not just food and wine, it’s deeper than that. I really hope these conversations continue to lift the industry and attract more talented people to it.
