Can you help us reach folks that might benefit from our support to enter the Struggle Hill Climb? 🙏🙏🙏

We’re offering to sponsor the entries for a few riders from under-represented groups again at this year’s Struggle Hill Climb on 20 September. 🤟👍👋

We know the entry fee is only a few pounds, but what we’ve found in the 5-6 years that we’ve been offering this sponsorship is that by giving folks that might not otherwise feel they would fit in the backing and support they need - they’ve thrived in the welcoming arms of the hill climb community. This really is one of the warmest friendliest places in cycling. Once you take the plunge. 🐮🛎️📯

So, if you think you’d like our support to bring you into this world, and you come from a community that’s not traditionally represented in cycling events in the UK - please get in touch to apply for our sponsorship at this year’s Struggle Hill Climb - DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS NEXT SUNDAY (6 September). There’s a link in our bio to the simple application form (https://forms.gle/5qN33nWLFfDDkaGW6) - or you can message us or email racing@colddarknorth.co.uk 📧📋✅

We’d love to support your effort! 🙏🙏🙏

🌅 SOLSTICE SPRINT 2026 🌅

Just over 3 weeks since I finished SS26 and it was such a type 2 fun event 😅 I think I enjoyed maybe 200km of it at the time (the first 100km and the last 75km) but in hindsight it was such a blast!!

This felt like the hardest version yet, despite being flatter than previous iterations, and that’s partially because it was hot (and I just didn’t realise 🫠) and partially cos I cycled much faster than I had any right to.

The training was just as non-existent as last year (it was my 15th bike ride of the year; I’d mostly been running instead), I got saddle sore within the first 100km, and I spent most of it longing for my bed, but I was somehow 10 hours faster than 2025, and 5 hours faster than my PB in 2024 💪

Anyway it was very gorgeous (even though I had to keep reminding myself to actually look and appreciate the scenery, rather than just grumbling about my stupid hobbies and stupid life choices), I had a lot of yum ice creams, and it was very fun catching up with everyone at HQ (and even more fun to finally get back to my bed like I’d been dreaming of 💕).

Official time: 60h23 (2 days, 12 hours, 23 minutes)
Distance: ~1010km
Elevation: ~10,000m

🎵 has been on repeat for weeks and weeks and was also blasting as I time trialed it back to the finish in my fastest 75km ever 🤙

Still revelling in how awesome HIGH CAMP III was earlier this month! Impeccable vibes and chock full of queer joy it was also part of the first @bikeoutfestival showing that queer spaces and communities do exist within cycling and are stronger than ever! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

ALL IN racing contributed to funding for Saturday’s evening event with money from the socks enabling the fantastic @n_i_kuu to come and deliver the best set I’ve heard all year! 🔥🔥🔥

Thanks to @rapha_uk, @canyon_road_ and of course the majestic lynchpin @emilyofchappell for another superb weekend!

We can’t wait until next year ☺️❤️❤️

“This is a weekend of queer joy” – @emilyofchappell 🏳️‍🌈

Last weekend, LGBTQ+ riders gathered in the Peak District from all over the UK for High Camp III and the inaugural @bikeoutfestival.

Though the inevitable rain came down on Saturday as the riders left camp, spirits remained high and riders made it through lush valleys and gravel climbs, stopping en route at the Rapha H Van for a much needed @assemblyroast coffee to warm up and refuel.

After the ride, it was time to change into civvies and head to Hathersage for the @bikeoutfestival evening event. Here, @emilyofchappell led a panel of leaders from @all.in.racing, @peakqueeradventures, @outvelo and @queersonwheels_ on building communities and creating safe spaces. The evening was tied up with dancing and beers from @luckysaintbeer.

Riders packed up and headed home on Sunday with new friends and new memories.

If you’d like to get yourself a pair of Rapha + @all.in.racing Rainbow Socks, you can find them at @rapha_london while stocks last.

You can view the full photo gallery by @heatherwood_photography via the link in our bio.

Many thanks to @emilyofchappell @all.in.racing @josh.m.jones @peakqueeradventures @canyon_road_ @assemblyroast and @luckysaintbeer for the support and making this event possible.

With guided gravel and road routes from Rapha, @emilyofchappell, @all.in.racing and @peakqueeradventures, mechanical support from @canyon_road_, Rapha H Van coffee stops and evening events in collaboration with the @bikeoutfestival, it’s going to be a weekend of pride, connection and community no matter what the weather decides to throw at us.

All riders will receive a goodie bag including a pair of Rapha + @all.in.racing Rainbow Socks, but if you aren’t able to make it to High Camp this time, you’ll be able to buy a pair at @rapha_london from June 8.

Tickets still available. Sign up now via the link in our bio.

HIGH CAMP is back and fast approaching! Join us next weekend from the evening of 5th to the morning of 7th June for a weekend of rides and socials for the queer cycling community 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈.

Led by @rapha_uk and @emilyofchappell you can join us in camping or on our rides on the Saturday where we’ll have both gravel and road rides (the latter led by me ☺️).

HIGH CAMP is also scheduled this year to be part of @bikeoutfestival and we’re coordinating an evening social on Saturday 6th which the ALL IN fund is supporting! There will be vibes and tunes and good times all round ❤️❤️

Head to https://events.rapha.cc/products/high-camp-iii to check out all the details and get your space - the weather looks more amenable to cycling next weekend too!
