Here at the @belfastmet Graphics department we arnt just committed to making pretty pictures, but also saving the world one mothion graphic at a time! Here’s more work from our 1st years, this time for another @d_and_ad new blood project with @dothegreenthing in which they where challenged with creating a marketing campaign to raise awareness for the issue of fast fashion and sustainability within the fashion industry. This is only a little snippet of the masses of work produced, but we’re very proud at how quickly the students wrapped their heads around after effects and made very engaging little promos. . . . . #makeitatthemet #graphicdesign #illustration #animation #motiongraphics #design #marketting #sustainability #climatechange #belfast #northernireland

Next up is one for all the Whiskey lovers out there. Our 1st years have been working on a packaging rebrand for @chivasregal as part of the @d_and_ad new blood awards, reinventing the brand for a new generation of ‘hustlers’. Fantastic work from all the students on this project, and really imaginative outcomes all round. Making me thirsty… 🥃 . . . . #makeitatthemet #graphicdesign #design #packaging #labeldesign #chivas #whiskey #belfast #northernireland #belfastmet

Over the next few weeks we will be showcasing some of the exciting projects both our 1st and 2nd year students have been working on the past year…. To kick things off, here’s a few more amazing poster designs from our 1st year project with the Royal Opera House for their Design and marketing challenge for the Opera ‘Peter Grimes’. We where blown away by the standard of this work as a very first graphics project for many of these students, and even more impressed at how far they have come since then! . . . . #makeitatthemet #graphicdesign #posterdesign #illustration #petergrimes #opera #royaloperahouse #roh #london
